About Us
A small maker shop with a serious standard.
Prime Works is a one-workshop business in Desert Hot Springs, in the heart of the Coachella Valley. Everything we sell is designed, made, and finished right here — no warehouse, no mass production, no middleman.
We work across handmade decor, laser-cut gifts, and custom fabrication: precision printers and a laser cutter on the bench, hand-finishing at the table. If a piece isn't good enough to sit in our own home, it doesn't go out the door.
We're a small shop on purpose. It means every order gets a real conversation, honest timing, and a person who actually made the thing you're buying. And we're not Christmas-only — the holiday collection is this season's lineup; the bench runs year-round on decor, gifts, and custom work.

We love custom work, and we want to be clear about how it works, so there are no surprises for anyone.
If you have a design file, send it to us. That is the strongest starting point. With your file in hand, we can cut it or print it here in the shop, and we can quote the job before we start.
If you do not have a file, tell us what you want in detail. Describe the shape, the size, the colors, and what the piece is for. A photo, a sketch, or an example of the style you like helps a lot, and we will work with you to make it happen.
Here is our promise: custom work starts with your design. Send us your file and we will cut it or print it for you here in the shop. How do I order?
Pick your piece on the Products page, then tap “DM to Order.” Your message opens in Facebook Messenger — tell us the product, your colors, and how many you want. We will confirm the order, the total, and your pickup time in the conversation. No checkout, no shipping.
Where does my DM go?
Straight to the Prime Works Shop page inbox on Facebook. We read and answer messages there, in the Facebook app — so when you tap “DM to Order,” you are messaging the shop directly, and your message will not get lost.
Can you make a custom piece for me?
Often, yes — and the best custom pieces start with your design file. Send us the file, and we can cut it or print it in the shop. If you do not have a file, tell us what you want in detail: the shape, the size, the colors, and what it is for. A photo, a sketch, or an example of the style you like helps a lot, and we will work with you to make it happen. We will always tell you honestly what we can and cannot do before you spend anything.
Where do we meet?
Pickup is in Desert Hot Springs. We can also meet in Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta, or Indio — we'll lock in the exact spot in your DM.
How do I pay?
We accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Regular orders pay at pickup — nothing is due when you place your order. For custom pieces, a deposit is required once the design is approved, before we start work.
What are the Christmas order deadlines?
For Christmas pieces (tree, reindeer, and snowman): order by December 18 for guaranteed Christmas pickup by December 23. Custom or personalized Christmas orders must be placed by December 12.
How long until my order is ready?
Most orders are ready within 24–48 hours. We'll confirm the exact timing in your DM before you commit to anything.
Can I get a different color?
For the tree and the reindeer — ask. If we have the color, we'll make it, and mix-and-match is welcome on both. The snowman comes as pictured, with his red hat and scarf.
Do the lit pieces use real candles?
No. The tree and the dragon lantern include an LED tealight — the glow without any flame. LED only, never a real candle.
